THE PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE IN 2018
How are you defined? Many say we are defined by the people we meet: the teachers who are our parents, the people that we work with or for, and the list goes on and on. In reality, we are defined by God's plan for us. We can imagine we are in control, but in reality, God is in control. Our steps are ordained by God. Even if we are in a bad place, God knows what is going on in our lives. Think of Job in the Bible, and all of the terrible things he had to overcome. Job was not in a good place for much of his life but he still knew deep within that God had control of his life. We are brought into situations that we know from the onset will not be positive for us. Job, without any hesitation knew by his faith that God would bring him out of any situation he was confronted with. So it is with our lives, we may step into a situation that we don’t like, but know without a doubt, that we are being guided to learn a lesson, to understand something greater than ourselves. It’s not always about us, it’s about a bigger picture trying to unfold. There is always a why to our questions if we are patient and allow God’s promises for our lives to be fulfilled. Look back on 2017 and years before then and remember how you were saved from harm, from friends who wanted what you had and because you did not support or agree with their negative agenda, meant only your harm, not your good. Realize that suddenly new persons were present to embrace you, support you, and encourage you. They manifested out of nowhere to make your dream come true. This was nothing but Divine Intelligence working with you.
As 2018 comes in with a bang, slow down, be still and with God at your side, take the time, for a period of gratitude in your life, counting God’s many blessings in every situation. So our plans for 2018 are God’s plans, not yours. He knows your purpose, even if you don’t. Let us get out of the way of the many blessings that are on the way to us, Now. Stop, look, and listen to the silence. Here we will find the answer, our purpose in life. Know that it is trying to find its way to you. Let your light shine, leading others to their purpose and you just might discover yours. Do your best and God will do the rest!
