GET OUT OF THE BOAT
It has been 6 months since this new year began. It is amazing how fast it went by. I am sure we all had long term and short term goals for achieving much by this time. Many of us did not achieve the goals we set. Others exceeded their expectations.
Maybe it's time to get out of our comfort zones and start doing what we do differently. Remember the old saying "If you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've always got". We know if this is the case, we need to make a change. We must get out of the boat that is leaking. We must do things differently. These different things may be any of our 5 points of light that BPOS (Be Part of the Solution) stands for.
How are we treating ourselves PHYSICALLY? Did we take better care of our bodies? Did we eat nutritionally safe foods? Did we see the doctor and follow his regime?
How did we stack up MENTALLY? Did we stretch our minds to a newer and better level? Did we read positive and fulfilling material?
SOCIALLY, did we acquire new friends and associates who believed and supported our program or agenda?
Did we have a desire EDUCATIONALLY to enroll in school or a program to enhance our current status?
FINANCIALLY, how did your bank account survive? Did money show abundantly in the black in your account rather than red showing a deficit? Did we start that new business that we so desperately wanted?
Spiritually, if we did not put God first in all of our activities, we not only missed the boat but insured that the leaking would increase. It's not too late. We have time to get out of this boat and enter another. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path. We can still accomplish much with the right attitude, plan and action taken. We must have a creative mindset, not a competitive one. No one has a creative mind like ours; this puts us many levels above the competition. Stop and realize where we are in the here and now. Don't linger on the past or what we could have done. Don't stress out about the future. Live in the "Here and Now", do your creative best and God will do the rest. A new boat is awaiting for a new adventure. Enjoy your creative ride.
